Additional drivers- there is an additional charge of 7 Euros per day for each authorised additional driver. Additional drivers must be present at the time of rental.
Age- all drivers must have been eligible to hold a licence for eight years for a-f class vehicles, 11 years for mpvs and vans and 13 years for small premiums. For small premiums, renters must also provide their own comprehensive insurance.
Enterprise rent-a-car provides damage waiver -DW- which reduces the costs associated with damage to and-or theft of the Enterprise vehicle subject to the terms and conditions of your rental agreement. Damage and theft responsibility is the full value of the vehicle. Damage waiver may be mandatory and included in the quote. Customers who can provide independent and verified provision to cover damage and theft to the enterprise vehicle may be able to decline DW. The price of DW is 13.21 Euro per day plus vat.
All rentals where the vehicle is not returned to the same location as it was rented from will be subject to a one-way fee of up to 150.00 EUR. One-way rentals from Dublin Airport to Belfast International Airport are subject to a charge of 175.00 EUR. One-way rentals are only allowed within mainland Ireland.
All Manual Cars and class A-C Automatic - 1,600 Euro excess applies which can be reduced to 100 Euro. Class F and F Automatic, Vans and MPVS - 1,750 Euro excess applies which can be reduced to 250 Euro. To reduce the excess, protection cover is 17.72 Euro per day plus vat.
Excess Protection is an optional coverage that reduces the applicable Damage Waiver excess (see Damage Waiver terms) to all cars 100.00 GBP, MINI MPVs, MPVs and commercial vehicles 250.00 GBP, all premiums and 4x4s 500.00 GBP. In Northern Ireland the reduced excess on all commercial vehicles is 500.00 GBP. You may wish to check if your personal coverage is adequate to cover damage, theft, loss of revenue, administration fees, diminishment of value, and any towing, storage or impound fees. If you decline Excess Protection then you are required to pay any applicable Damage Waiver excess and seek compensation from your carrier. The price of Excess Protection varies by vehicle size and the prices are inclusive of VAT. Premium location fee applies to airports.
A-E vehicles carry an excess of 1600 Euros, which can be reduced to 100 Euros. For E Class, MPVS and Vans the excess is 1750 Euros, which may be reduced to 250 Euros. Where DW is not included in your rate, it can be purchased at the branch with an excess of 1750 Euros, which can be reduced to 250 Euros.
Mileage- all vehicles include unlimited mileage
Vat- the vat charge on vans and rentals lasting more than 35 days will be 23 percent. For vehicles travelling to the U.K., there is an additional charge of 150 Euros plus vat. Please call the branch in advance. Customers wishing to return the car to a different location will be subject to an additional charge.
Payment- if the rental is not prepaid, the renter must pay a deposit of 250 euros and the full rental charges using a major debit or credit card in his or her own name. If the rental has been prepaid, the renter must pay a deposit of 250 euros. Renters wishing to use a debit card are required to bring additional documentation and will be subject to additional checks.
Enterprise offers roadside assistance protection - rap. Rap allows Enterprise customers to waive all financial responsibility for the following - tyre and glass repair or replacement costs, except when part of a larger repair, replacement keys costs, and all recovery and call out charges imposed by our chosen roadside assistance providers as result of a fault caused by renter error. Rap does not exempt you from these charges if there is any breach of our rental agreement. The price of rap is 4.40 Euro plus vat per day.
Documentation- All drivers must produce a valid driving license. Non-EU licence holders are required to have an international driving permit if the licence is not in English. Domestic renters must produce photo id – passport or driving licence. International travellers must produce a passport, proof of return travel and residency information while in Ireland. Renters who wish to use a debit card must produce a pay slip, bank statement and one proof of address, which must be a domestic utility or landline telephone bill. All documents must be less than three months old. Debit card customers also will be subject to additional checks. For all drivers, we reserve the right to request additional id or conduct further id checks. These may include id checks with external partners who may verify supplied details against databases to which they have access.
